A few words before the photos
Dokomi 2025 marks the first year in which I worked entirely with my own personal gear. Well, aside from one lens rental. Previous years I worked off of a good friends equipment, initially a Canon EOS 6Dii and the past two years using a Canon EOS R6i clapped out with Sigma Art series zoom and prime lenses. After moving up in the working world by finishing my apprenticeship I decided it was time to upgrade from my somewhat older Panasonic Lumix G81 to something bigger. Primarily bigger in price tag as I stuck with the Micro Four Thirds camera system: An OM-System OM-1 Mark 1. Got a solid deal on that + a weather sealed fixed aperture zoom lens and damn did this work out better than expected.
Mind you I did not use that lens during the convention at all due to having spent a glorious 90€ on a 17mm prime lens. I used that near exclusively aside from a few photos where I switched to another prime.
Anyway, I hope these photos do somewhat capture the event, enjoy :)
